More about this product: To make the perfect cup of coffee, simply tear open the coffee-stick, pour it into an empty cup or bottle, add 6-10 oz. of water or milk of any temperature. It mixes iced or hot in seconds! Use more or less water to make your coffee weaker or stronger. You cannot "over-brew" - you will get a perfect cup every time.
To make a perfect cup of tea, open the tea stick and then pour it into an empty cup. Add 12-14 oz of warm or hot water and watch your tea dissolve with the motion of water - no stirring required! To make iced tea, dissolve the tea with a small amount of warm water, add cold water and ice and stir or shake to mix.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A GREAT LOVE OF TEA
Our founder, Jim Lamancusa, discovered his passion for tea while exploring the traditional tea shops of Hong Kong as a study-abroad student. Inspired by southeast Asia during that first trip, he ended up living in the region for over two and a half years. While there, he received a complete education in the craft and culture of tea, visiting tea plantations and shops throughout China and India simply because he loved the experience of a premium cup of tea.
While Jim was on a backpacking trip in 2015, he noticed all his friends were drinking instant coffee packets while he was carrying around wet, soggy teabags and wondered why no one had made an instant tea that actually tasted good.
DISCOVERING OUR COLD BREW PROCESS
After returning from the mountains, Jim began to experiment with tea and quickly realized that existing production methods for instant beverages damaged tea's characteristics, resulting in a final product that didn’t reflect the flavor and nuance of high-quality tea. After nine months of trial and error, he found a completely new brewing and dehydration process that could deliver a perfect cup of premium organic tea in seconds.
This new Cold Brew Process retained all the taste and character of the teas Jim hand selected from specialty organic plantations, and Cusa Tea was born. Fast-forward 2 years, and we applied the same process to coffee. It resulted not only in a cup that tastes like it was just freshly brewed, but also one that has less acid and bitterness than you'll find in the average cup of joe.

Q&A with Cusa Tea & Coffee
Question: Are your teas and coffees sugar free?
Answer: Yes! There is zero sugar in any Cusa Tea or Cusa Coffee product. They taste great that way, but if you prefer a sweeter taste to your tea or coffee, they also taste great with added honey, sugar, stevia or other sweeteners. If you are diabetic, you can absolutely drink Cusa Tea & Coffee.
Question: Does your tea have caffeine?
Answer: Some do. Currently, all of our green and black teas have natural caffeine. You can easily see which products have green or black tea by looking for the bright green strip on the box or stick. They contain 42-79mg of caffeine per 12-14oz serving, depending on the flavor (more for black teas and less for green). Since all teas with green or black tea leaves have caffeine (unless it has been removed through an artificial decaffeination process), our green and black teas do, too. For those who don’t or can’t drink caffeine, don’t despair! We sell an entire line of caffeine-free herbal teas. They have a blue band on the box or stick.
Question: Do your teas contain antioxidants?
Answer: Our teas contain polyphenols, a type of EGCG, which are antioxidants. Good quality loose leaf tea typically contains about 60mg of polyphenols per serving, but our teas contain 144-456mg per serving, depending on the flavor. That’s because our unique process concentrates the polyphenols in our tea, meaning you get even more of the good stuff.
Question: Do your teas and coffees dissolved in cold water?
Answer: Our coffees, herbal tea and green tea products dissolve completely and quickly in cold water - specifically, that’s Organic Green Tea, Mango Green Tea and Peach Green Tea. If you put them in a cold water bottle and shake, it will take about 5-45 seconds to dissolve. Our black tea products need a small amount of warm water to dissolve, then you can add cold water and ice to make iced tea.
Question: Is this tea or coffee good for fasting?
Answer: Our tea and coffee are not specifically designed to suppress appetite, but caffeine can suppress appetite for some people. Our teas and coffees contain natural caffeine. If you are fasting and can drink caffeine during your fast, you'll be just fine drinking our tea or coffee. There are no calories, fat, sugars or carbs in them.
